Pitch Contest
The Pitch Competition is one of the most exciting parts of Game Dev Day, allowing five selected teams to showcase their games to industry professionals and the audience. It’s a unique opportunity to find business partners and investors, as well as receive valuable feedback from experienced professionals.
How does the Pitch Contest work?
First Round
Online selection: After submitting their application, the strongest teams will give us an online pitch presentation. From these, we will select the 5 teams that advance to the final.
Second Round
Live final at Game Dev Day: The 5 top teams will have the chance to present their game concept on the event stage in front of a jury of representatives from international publishers and experienced developers, as well as the audience. Both rounds will be conducted in English.
What do you get if you make it to the finals?
5 minutes on stage
for you to showcase your vision and why your project is worth investing in
10 minutes of feedback
from professionals, people who know exactly what publishers and investors are looking for.
Mentoring before the finals
to help you deliver your best pitch and make the most of your time on stage.
What is the aim of the Pitch Contest?
The Pitch Contest is not about the perfect game, it is perfectly natural to have an unfinished project at this stage. What matters is that:
-showcase the potential of your game
-show how it can be successful in the market
-and prove that you can realise your idea
