Showcase Your Game at Game Dev Day!

Game Dev Day is the biggest gathering of the Hungarian game development community – and also the perfect opportunity to put your game directly in front of industry professionals, publishers and the public. More than a dozen games developed in Hungary will be showcased in the exhibition area – this is your chance to have yours among them!

Why should you apply?

Game Dev Day isn’t just an opportunity to showcase your game to the local audience and industry: representatives from international publishers will also be attending, giving your game the chance to get in front of decision-makers who could open up new opportunities for you.

On top of that, hundreds of visitors will get to discover your game, while you’ll have the chance to receive genuine feedback from players firsthand. You’ll meet other developers, build connections and find inspiration in the stories and experiences of the community.

This is a unique opportunity to get your work seen – by both players and industry professionals.

How does it work?

Who can apply?

We welcome everyone who makes games or provides products or services related to game development! You might be a complete beginner working on your first project, or an experienced professional working towards your latest release. You can apply either as an individual or as a team.

How are exhibitors selected?

The organisers will select which games and other projects will be showcased from among the entries. The only requirement for games is that you have at least a short gameplay video. If possible, bring along a playable version that visitors can try on the day, as this will allow you to get direct feedback from the audience.

Participation fee

The exhibition fee is HUF 10,000, and exhibitors must also have a valid entry ticket (Standard or Networking Pass). At the same time, we understand that every penny counts when you’re working on a garage project. If the participation fee would be a barrier, let us know and, where appropriate, we may waive the fee as a gesture of our support.

What will you need?

Exhibitors are responsible for bringing the hardware needed for their demonstration (PC, laptop, monitor, etc.).
We will provide on site:

  • a table and chairs
  • access to WIFI
  • electricity

How can you apply?

To take part, all you need to do is fill in the application form. Please note that, as space is limited, we cannot guarantee a place for everyone. Entries will not be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, but will instead be assessed individually. The developers of the selected games will be notified via email.

Application deadline: 31 August
